Prosecutors Ramp Up Efforts To Lock Up Patriots Owner Robert Kraft

Super Bowl LIII Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade

It's been almost a year since New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft allegedly paid for sex acts at a Florida massage parlor. Now, prosecutors are raising the stakes.

According to the latest court filing from the Florida Attorney General's Office, prosecutors want the two misdemeanor prostitution charges against Kraft to be increased to felonies, punishable by up to five years in prison.

The state is appealing a court ruling that tossed video evidence captured at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter over several days last January.

The judge said police did not have a lawful "sneak-and-peek" warrant.

While investigators say Kraft and others were caught paying for and receiving sex acts, the judge said a lot of other customers who were just getting legal massages may have had their privacy rights violated.
